These Terms of Service govern your use of OweMotion. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
These terms are practical launch placeholders and have not been attorney-reviewed. They should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before broad public launch. Placeholders marked [PLACEHOLDER] must be completed before marketing widely.
OweMotion is operated by Robert Spencer as a sole proprietorship until formal entity formation is completed. References to “OweMotion,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to that operator. Legal entity information will be updated upon formal filing. A public business mailing address is not currently listed publicly. Legal and support inquiries may be sent to support@owemotion.com.
OweMotion is a platform for organizing real-world work, proof, status, responsibilities, payments, templates, customer-facing pages, and workflow records.
OweMotion may support business workflows, selling and payment links, proof and status pages, business templates, utility motions, local commerce, referrals, and personal or hobby workflows as features evolve. Feature availability varies by subscription tier and may be labeled Live, Pilot, or Coming Soon on public surfaces.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your workspace. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and keep it updated.
You may not share your account, transfer your workspace to another person without our consent, or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions or fees.
OweMotion offers monthly subscription plans:
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method.
Stripe handles payment processing on our behalf. OweMotion does not store full card numbers. Your subscription pricing is displayed at checkout and in your billing settings.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Unless otherwise stated, access continues through the end of the current paid billing period after cancellation, and you will not be charged for subsequent periods. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of a billing period already paid unless required by law or approved by OweMotion in its discretion.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where required by applicable law or approved by OweMotion in its sole discretion. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@owemotion.com within 30 days of the charge.
Monthly subscription fees are separate from payment rail platform fees. When payments are processed through OweMotion payment rails (such as payment links, invoices, or Owe/Pay flows), a platform fee may apply based on your subscription tier:
These fees apply to payments processed through OweMotion payment rails where applicable. Final fees are displayed at the relevant checkout, invoice, or payment flow. Platform fee rates may change with advance notice.
OweMotion uses Stripe to process payments. By making or receiving payments through OweMotion, you may also be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. OweMotion may receive payment status, customer IDs, transaction metadata, and webhook confirmations from Stripe as part of normal platform operation.
You may create or upload content through OweMotion, including job notes, proof photos, invoice details, customer status updates, workflow records, and public or shared pages. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to upload, share, or display that content.
Proof and status pages generated through OweMotion are operational records of events and workflow steps as recorded in the platform. They are not legal findings, court rulings, insurance determinations, or guaranteed independent verification of every claim.
OweMotion helps organize events, proof, status, and obligations inside workflows. It does not determine legal truth, settle disputes between parties, guarantee payment outcomes, independently verify every claim recorded in the system, or replace professional legal, financial, tax, employment, medical, or insurance advice.
OweMotion may offer AI-assisted suggestions, drafts, templates, or recommendations. These outputs are suggestions only. You remain responsible for all decisions, customer communication, pricing, hiring, legal and financial decisions, and actions taken based on AI suggestions. OweMotion does not guarantee that AI suggestions are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your specific situation.

OweMotion may suspend or terminate your account or workspace for nonpayment, fraud, abuse, legal risk, or material violation of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice before suspension. We are not liable for any loss resulting from suspension or termination in accordance with these Terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OWEMOTION DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OWEMOTION AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, CUSTOMER DISPUTES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE OR FROM USER MISUSE OF THE PLATFORM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
OweMotion may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users.
